Thanks for the video. I installed the driver, however, it won't run, I see only the old driver in the devices manager. I restarted the computer, nothing changed. No icon in the right corner for the synaptic driver.

I don't save any unknown device

Awesome! After deleting the default driver and then restarting my HP ProBook, the Synaptics driver just appeared as a biometric device without me ever downloading it. It didn't even go through the install process and it NOT a hidden device. My fingerprints are now loaded. Thank you SO much!
